Cassette Playa has designed a “space invader” t-shirt for Uniqlo. The t-shirt can be found online from their UK store for about thirty dollars and should be available at every Uniqlo store worldwide.

I tried to recreate the t-shirt using linen and my girlfriend’s sewing machine. While it was my first attempt using a sewing machine, I was convinced my version would turn out better than the original. Needless to say, the project didn’t turn out quite as I had hoped and took me at least three hours; sewing, threading needles, cutting threads, and everything else involved takes longer than it should — the damn machine is supposed to be semi-automatic! Maybe your luck will be better. A sewn version of this t-shirt would be awesome. Define your own color scheme.
